EPFO has made a provision for change the name of EPF Members in the database. Members who wish to get their name to be changed in the EPF Database can apply for the same through their employer along with supportive documents. Change Name in PF Account is very easy process. EPF NAME CORRECTION IDENTITY PROOFS

You have to submit any one of the below documents for the correction of your PF Details.

Note: You can not go directly EPFO to change the Name, Date of Birth etc without interfere of your employer. You employer have to give the sign and stamp to change the same. Then only EPFO will correct the details as per your produced documents.

  • PAN Card
  • Election Card
  • Passport
  • Driving License
  • Aadhar Card
  • ESIC ID Card
  • Bank Passbook
  • Post Office Passbook
  • Ration Card
  • Date of Birth certificate (For correct DOB)
  • Electricity Bill
  • Water Bill
  • Telephone Bill
  • Letter from a recognized public authority or public servant verifying the identity and residence of the member to the satisfaction of the competent authority.

Fill the application form and print it.

Name
Father's Name
PF Account Number
Date of Birth
Date of Joining
Date of Leaving (If you left)



Sign the printed application form and get signed and stamp from employer. Attach the identity proof as mentioned above and submit your employer. They will send the documents to the respective PF office to get it done. 

You can check the details online wether it changed or not by login into UAN account. You can change the mobile number, email address, communication address.
