This is really very good scheme by Indian Government for retired employees. They will check their Pension Payment Order Status online without doing rounds to the Government offices.

How To Check PPO Status Online
Step 1: First of all, you have to visit official website of "Central Pension Accounting Office"
Step 2 : Once you click on the above link, you will be redirected to official website of Pension Office. Then you have click on PPO Status tab as giving in below image
The above link is for 12 digit PPO Numbers. If you have 12 digits PPO Numbers, enter your PPO number so that you can get the status online instantly.
Don't have 12 digit PPO Number ?
No problem. If you do not have 12 digit PPO number, Click on "PPO Status for Non 12 digit PPO Number" You will get a new window like below
Select your PAO office from first choice and Enter your PPO Number as given above.
You will get the online status of your PPO.
